| All the information you need for Savatage is listed on their website: Savatage. If you like the gritty metal of the '80s I fully recommend you check out early Savatage. If you like your metal more refined, then listen to Savatage in the '90s. I love both decades! With early classics like The Dungeons are Calling, Hall of the Mountain King (including the unforgettable Intro) to later masterpieces like Jesus Saves, Handful of Rain to their incredible album, The Wake of Magellan, Savatage has created a lasting impression on metal and music in general. The last three titles listed below are rather special. The acoustic CD is incredible and a must if you're a Savatage fan. Age of Discovery is also live and a great fan album. I purchased both of them off E-bay--they are illegal copies with scanned cover inserts. I'm against pirating music, but if it had not been for this guy breaking the law, I never would have heard the acoustic show. So, I'm feeling lucky! Doctor Butcher is a no-holds barred album by Jon Oliva and Chris Caffery. |
