William Shakespeare's "Taming of the Shrew" 1997
This is the whole Cast of "Taming of the Shrew" The Short Shakespeareans' 1997 Production.
This was a bit different for us then last years Production of "The Tempest". For starters when we went to Ashland we were accompanied by my cousin Ginny and her daughter Kamber (also in the show)
Cassie Portrayed "Hortensio", the jilted suitor of Bianca, Katherine's Sister.
'Tad' Portrayed "Peter" one of the Servants.
Kamber Portrayed "Gregory" another of the many Servants
The other thing that made this Production a bit different was how incredibly busy the summer was for us. Between moving, sailing, me attending my 20th High School Reunion, working, and trying to maintain sanity between it all. At least this year on the trip to Ashland for the Shakespeare Fest., we made it back under our own power. That's a big plus.
On this trip, we made it, at least for a short time, to California, Saw a 'REAL' Professional Prod. of "Two Gentlemen of Verona" under the stars, swan in the Ocean, saw old friends, lots of sea lions, and in general had a GREAT time.
