Sightseeing, Windsurfing, Water-skiing, Jet-Skiing, Parasailing, Kayaking, Canoeing, Rowing, Tubing, Houseboats, Paddleboats, and cruising are among the ways to enjoy the waters of Lake Chelan. The windsurfers and sailboats are especially prominate uplake in the Lucerne Basin and near Stehekin where the winds are the most consistent.More than a dozen boat in campgrounds have been constructed along the lake-some with tent sites, picnic tables, outhouses, and fire-rings.  Public boat launches can be found along Lake Chelans south shore at both 25-Mile Creek and Lake Chelan State Parks; along the north shore at Mill Bay park; and in Chelan at the Riverwalk and City Park. Boats can also be launched on the Columbia River at Chelan Falls and Beebe Bridge parks.
