The Map Room
The
Chatelaine's
Office 'tis a good place to visit for my favorite bits and
pieces
of advice imparted to newcomers over the years.
Those feeling a little peckish might want to find your way to the Kitchens.
There ye
shall find recipes to fabulous dishes upon which to dine and wondrous
concoctions to quench your thirst. Should ye find not what you desire,
take a look at the Culinary
Shelves' cookbooks or poke around in the Pantry
for
links to
search further. NEW!! Alys's Reciept Boke.
Herein wilt thou find reciepes no longer found in the Kitchen.
In the Library,
browse through the sources and links that abound. Sources listed
include those
that were used as reference for this site and suggested bibliographies.
A wide array of useful links awaits your pleasure to study for more
information
and to help further you along in your studies. Do feel free to click on
the bookmark links to print them out before you leave my humble
domicile
as a souvenir of your time here spent.
The Great
Hall is a
wondrous place for gathering. The
Hearth will be where
one’s entertainment questions can be answered by a mouse click to links
of pages on games, dance, songs, storytelling and music. A story or two
of mine and maybe one of my late lord's poems might some day be found
herein as well. Wanting an old story no longer in the Great
Hall? Try Here!
Pondering a change of clothes? Step into the Wardrobe. Costuming
from the basic beginning T-tunic to the complicated. Links to some
splendid sites for information in this room. Accessories lists, advice,
colors, and
patterns as well.
Are you interested in knowing about the heavy fighting and other things
of a war like nature? All things of Arts Martial have I gathered
together and placed in The
Armoury. You will find it all - heavy armored combat, war
arts,
rapier, thrown weapons, and archery as well as the links to check out
like a page that has armor
patterns on it and all sorts of other informative links.
The Nursery holds all
things related to one precious asset that many do have, Our Children.
Ideas on how to clothe them, feed them, and occupy them as well as
links to the Office that holds them all dear are enclosed therein.
The Garden
is very
fragrant indeed. In the Garden suggested reading for period gardening
and a link
or two are to be harvested here.
In My
Sanctuary is where
you will find out more about me -- my likes, dislikes, my persona
history,
my other
hobbies and interests, personal information, and whatever else I choose.
Preoccupations, Occupations and Past Times, Hobbies and Guilds and
General Fun Stuff. Yes there are even those here in this place. Go to
the Treasure Box and
follow the links there for information on lure coursing, weaving, and
many other topics too numerous to mention here. Did you know that there
was in existence such a thing known as Renaissance Radio?(A MUST Check-It-Out!) And
where better to find more trinkets, baubles, and shiny things but in a
market place.
Should thou be desirous of correspondence or sharing some thoughts and
links of your own with me thou may find the ways here.
May I make one small request of you, my wonderful guest, do thou favor
me with signing in my guest book so I know you were here and what you
thought. (Still at the bindery.)
