First Afghanistan, where the enemy was based. This made such clear sense that it made America safer that the venal Mutant American Liberal kept its head down. Then Iraq, where Saddam was thumbing his nose at the United Nations. There is no question in the rational mind that the whole world is safer, even though the United States forces take most of the casualties. The US must persevere in Iraq.
Next? Will the former Persian Empire please stand up and tell the truth about arms they supply to the Iraqi murderers. Just once?
Peace is had only through victory.
More Evidence Its Iran
LONDON -- British officials do not know where Iran is holding 15 sailors and marines captured in the Persian Gulf, and requests for access to them have been denied, the Foreign Office said Sunday...The Foreign Office said Sunday that British requests for access to the 15 Britons have been denied...U.S. News and World Report, citing a U.S. Army report out of Iraq, said the capture of the British soldiers was not the first time Iranians have taken Western forces by surprise in the border area.
According to the news magazine, American troops working with Iraqi border guards within Iraq were attacked by a much larger Iranian military unit in September. U.S. News said no Americans were hurt in the incident, but four Iraqi soldiers, an interpreter, and an Iraqi border policeman remain missing.
There you have it, fans. Absolute proof that the stupid American Left has been sooo right all along. Iraq is in civil war with neighboring Iran. What, civil war with another country? Twisted.
The dimbulb Left will twist it. They'll insist the problem wouldn't exist if we weren't there... The 3000 dead from the vicious jihadist attacks on September 11, 2001 will magically come back to life. How else can the Left sound like the trivial morons they are?
Subsequently Iran released the British sailors, saying they were merely "guests." Iran has also subsequently stated its intent to pursued its nuclear weapons development. Iran seems to think their militarism should be hunky-dory with the Worlds Leftists. It seems like it is.
You've heard it said, "I support the troops, but I don't support the war." Maybe you've said it yourself.
Tell me, is there anything in your life you believe in so strongly that
you are willing to risk your life for it? Is there anything in your
life you so strongly believe in that you would risk your humanity for
it; That you would be willing to kill for it, and suffer walking with
that guilt?
Every soldier in American service shares this conviction: He
(or she) is willing to lay down his life and serve the will of
America's elected leaders. That soldier believes that the leaders have
the moral authority to command America's armed forces to destroy
America's enemies.
How can anyone say they support the troops, but don't support the war?
That can only be a lie. If you are not willing to support the mission,
what a soldier is ready to kill and to die for, you are not supporting
the troops.
Why did Saddam limit the international inspectors access to military research sites? Such access was a condition for the settlement of the first Gulf War. Did Saddam think he bluff his way past the UN? Well, sure, but why? The United Nations has been a co-sponsor of terrorism and oppressive regimes for some decades now. Its kind of a badge of distinction for a corrupt tyrant to have headed up the UN.
Saddam may have been nuts, but he was actually a shrewd head of state. So ask yourself, Which government is the Number One sponsor of fascist terrorism in the Middle East?
Iran's.
It's easy to imagine Saddam had domestic problems caused by Iran. This is just what the Americans have discovered. Saddam thought that only by maintaining the illusion of a chemical and nuclear arsenal could the Iranians be kept from invading. What's worse, Saddam couldn't come clean and call upon the Americans for support; Saddam's generals would have assassinated him. The Americans were the authors of the destruction of all their lovely toy soldiers. (I don't mean the brave Iraqis are toys. Saddam and their generals treated that way though.)
So Saddam was stuck. He felt he couldn't reveal he had no real counter to the Iranian threat, and hoped he could bluff past the UN and the US. The deception worked before. The American president Clinton was so clumsy he bombed a pharmaceutical factory in Sudan and ordered the American military to flee from Mogadishu rather than use America military power effectively. Unfortunately for Saddam, George Bush is more direct and wouldn't go for the old deception.
And next...
Bush's strategy seems to be to bracket Iran. The next logical step would be to invade. But there is political power to be had in the US government by attacking the American nation. From the very beginning, Leftists have worked to undermine the American will. These people constitute what used to be called a fifth column, saboteurs who work inside the target nation. Foreigners don't even have to come here. There is a Leftist network of lightweight intellectual elitists, willing and ready to do the enemy's service.
These enemies are the enemy of human freedom, they are the enemy of all humankind. George Bush isn't perfect, and he will be out of office soon enough. But we must stop the destruction of the will to win now. A very real risk is that the grinding heel of elitist oppression in the name of religion or Leftism waits for us if we do nothing to resist.
