The financial system Bailout, sponsored by the Democrats, written by the Democrats and desired by the Democrats, cannot be passed. What?
The Democrats have their majority. The Democrats have enough Democrats in Senate and House of Representative to pass anything they want. But suddenly, Republicans won't go along, and somehow that makes a difference. What difference does that make? The Democrats control the US legislature. But they cannot pass a bill. And they blame the Republicans they have excluded. The Democrats' leadership is all whimps!
What the shuck? The Democrats are lame, stupid and unwilling to act. Toss them out. Toss out anyone who won't act. They should do their job and get out of the way.
But Heck No! The Democrats want to stampede a pork laden bill through the Congress and screw the American public again, And Blame the Republicans. It ain't gonna work.

Harry Reid (D, Nev) told the press that McCain spoke last at the big confab about this Bailout. But the Democrats insist McCain caused problems during the meeting. How is it the person who speaks only at the very end of the meeting stalled the meeting and caused problems. Perhaps the person running the show should bear the responsibility for the meeting screwing up. But that person is Obama. Reid must cover up this fact. So, subsequently, Reid has changed his story about the meeting to a general indictment of McCain. Harry Reid, partisan bickerer.

According to the Democratic Party, McCain is Bush 3. But McCain is causing problems with the Bailout both Bush and the Democrats say they want. Well, brother, the Democrats' leadership are clearly lying again.

Washington Mutual bank, located in Seattle (The Soviet of Seattle) Washington, failed. It has been taken over by JP Morgan Chase. If you used to bank at WaMu, your money is safe. The private enterprise system works. If the Republicans actually were stonewalling the so called bailout, they were doing the right thing. More likely, the Democrats had opponents in their own party, Democrats who would not toe the line.
So check out your own representative and Senators and see how they stand before you decide how to vote.
Democracy in a free society requires fearlessness about the truth. There are a couple of characteristics about the truth. First, it is consistent with itself, both in details and over time. Second, a theory built on truth will have refutable implication. That is, a theory that may be true is testable; there is no magic, "it's just that way," story. A corollary is that a theory which involves conspiracy must be held suspect. Most conspiracy theories fall down because they lack confirmable details or are too fluid to be consistent.
Any theory which does not rest on verifiable facts must be discarded. Mere assertion of a fact won't do. The fact may be assumed only for the purpose of constructing the theory, but then the theory must be tested. If any of the assumed facts do not appear in the real world, the theory must be discarded.
But the American mainstream media is not a watchdog of the growing government anymore. The media is the lapdog of the Mutant American Left.

The Democratic Party won control of the US Congress, and the Leftists control the Democratic Party. Look for three things in the immediate future.
First, an unconditional American surrender and withdrawal from Iraq and the consequent collapse of civil order there. The American Democratic Party will be responsible for this chickening out and the death that results. The Democratics have done this before in Viet Nam, Cambodia and Laos. There were more than 7 million killed in consequence.
I may have been wrong about this. The Democratics don't seem to have the stomach for defeat in Iraq. Instead they make play after play pretending the Republicans still control the Senate and House. But children, the Democratics are in control.
An example is the Pizza Party all nighter in the Senate last Tuesday (July 16, '07). The Democratics couldn't get the nerve to pass their withdrawal plan, so they try to blame the Republicans, the minority party, who still don't control the Senate. the Democratics were having problems with other Democratics, some of whom refuse to chicken out.
They're chickening out of chickening out.
The second is the Democratic Party loves to tax you almost as much as their leaders love to lie to you. No matter what they add tax to, an no matter what they mouth about the new taxes being fair, taxes are a drag on society. And please tell me in what way is a monster government gone out of control, bullying anyone for taxes, fair?
Yep. The Democratics are raving about the Bush tax break (remember the $300 you don't have to pay every year?) being a tax break for the rich. This is so dull. A tax break is exactly what the Democratics can't stand, precisely because it denies government control of every individual life. Freedom is intolerable to these power-greedy twerps.
It's gotten worse. Charles Rangel (D, New York) seeks an increase in taxes of over 1 trillion dollars. Additional taxes only increase government power over us all and take away power from the people. No matter how much they stretch this, the people of big or little business get beaten up by increased taxation. That shuts down the American Economy. Everyone pays! The American people will suffer horribly for this tax craziness.
The third thing the Democratics love is gun control. The Democratics have this romantic notion the helpless grandmother will confidentially dial 911 while an unarmed thug twice her size beats her to death. The Democratic Party prefers this vision to the vision of that same grandmother defending herself merely by owning a gun.
Right about this one. The Democratics tried to get the Occupational Health and Safety agency to regulate gun powder under the explosive rules as unsafe for any work environment. OSHA included loaded ammunition in their proposed regulation. Any weapon grandmother has to defend herself would be useless. The ammunition would be un-obtainable. But they couldn't slip this one under the radar. It didn't work.
The war in Iraq and Afghanistan fronts continue. Democratics made election vows to fail in the war against terror. The administration's success via Peace Through Victory is potent counter argument.
Congress voted to tie expansion of the State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP) to cigarette sales. To make this funding work, 22 million additional Americans need to start smoking now. Fortunately the president vetoed this insanity.
Back at election time 2006, the Democratics claim they will clean up the use of earmarks. Result: An omnibus spending bill with a record 8,993 earmarks on $7.4 billion in spending.
Farm subsidies guarantee income to farmers for planting the wrong crop, or for planting no crop at all. The Democratic controlled Congress increase the farm subsidies income limit to $750,000 per farmer per year. The limit the Democratics replaced was $200,000. The predictable result is increased food prices.
The Congress backed the President in silly enthusiasm to replace petroleum with ethanol. And Congress refused to remove the 54 cent per gallon tariff on imported ethanol. The result will be more increase in food prices.
To offset impending food riots, Congress mandates that cars get 35 miles per gallon. Now you can be killed more easily when you drive your high mileage, lightweight and flimsy car to the market.
The Democratics claim victory for the working family. Really? They raised the federal hourly minimum wage from $5.15 to $5.85, thereby increasing the wages of less than 0.5% of the work force. Most corporations already offer more than this for entry level. Only very small businesses will be hurt by this increase in minimum wage, but these have to be large enough to be under federal minimum wage control. Confused? What it means is the Congress hasn't screwed things up too badly.
Finally, the Democratic Party controlled House of Representatives voted to remove secret ballot from Union elections.
This is to explain the use of the term Democratic where you might have expected me to use Democrat: The far Left fringe of the party insists that we call the Democrat Party the Democratic Party. But the way English works, either the first word describes the second or the term is a nominal compound. The Party is authority structured (subordinate to the grip of the far-Left), so it is hardly democratic in that sense. So the term must be a nominal compound. That means the Party is the Party of the Democratics. They call themselves Democratic in self-flattery.
To paraphrase John Ford, I wonder if the Democratics had a careless upbringing. Words are something you can live by; words you say and mean.
Has it occured to you democracy can be used as a front for tyranny? To qualify as democracy, the rulers need only to stage balloting and force votes. No matter that there is only one candidate, or no secret ballot. Voting is conducted from fear. Democracy alone does not equal goodness or freedom.

That is the stupidist excuse for laziness I've ever heard. If you want to live enslaved to someone else's decisions, keep using that excuse. The Democratic Party are the worst power suckers in the history of the United States.
The Republican Party have been a huge dispointment because of their spinelessness. So get involved; either change the Democratics so they won't eat us alive, or join the Republicans and help them grow a spine. Because if you screw around, we're all going down.
From the noise the fascist controlled Left makes about "politics involved," you'd think the Democrat Party have different politics from the Republican party. Imagine that....
But the Left cannot stand change. Like so much else, it frightens them. Mutant American Liberalism is revealed as cowardice.
One very telling element is the dismissal of the Seattle based law firm who was supposed to investigate the obvious vote counting fraud in Washington State's 2004 gubernatorial election. The Left is howling for this very reason. The Democratic Gregoire (pronounced "Greg Wahr") was elected through vote rigging. (The Democratic controlled election board in King County kept finding new bags of ballots in rooms they had already emptied out. They kept this up until Gregoire won the election. Then strangely, there were no more bags of ballots to count. There were other odd coincidences.) If this is ever investigated, a number of notable Democratics in Washington State will go to prison.
Senator Barbara Boxer (Dipstick, CA) is one of those newly empowered, Left-wing, extremists in the Senate. If you have any doubt that the American Left embraces oppression of the masses, perhaps this little news item from January 11 will wake you up.
Boxer took a position that the US Secretary of State Condileeza Rice is disqualified from having an opinion about the Iraq war because Rice has no children. If you have no children you have no one a risk in the military. Therefore Condi Rice (and people like her) have no right to an opinion. Senator Boxer uses word tricks like this to silence people she wishes were not qualified to have opinion.
But if you are not entitled to an opinion, certainly you are not entitled to vote. Boxer reveals herself as fundamentally an anti-democratic, fascist pig. Eventually, she will seek to silence millions so she can have her way.
Boxer ought to be expelled from the Congress and discarded by the voters of California. She is evil.
Nothing corrupts intellectual power like the abuse of the language. Free speech becomes an endangered species when powerful words, misused, become shortcuts for specious argument and repetitious cliches trivialize noble ideas.
How gross the American Leftist Press has been! Yeah, we need to
know what happened on the quail hunt, so take the Vice President at his
word! These jerks on the left won't believe anything Cheney says. And
they keep questioning not what happened, instead they question Cheney's
purity of soul. Since Cheney doesn't share the Left's Pure Religion,
they try to fry him in a hell of fresh invention. Why did he take 12
hours to notify the press, and then through his "agent" Mrs. Armstrong?
Was he drunk? Is he sending secret signals to Scooter Libby/Ciro
Rodriguez/whoever? Is he too arrogant? No matter what, in the Left's
mind, this incident proves he is unfit for public office.
Deranged, psychotic Leftists. If only they took the time to
imagine how terrible it felt like to shoot someone. People who have
absolute justification to defend their lives often need months of
counseling if they need to shoot in self-defense. Mr. Cheney doesn't
have that "luxury." He is facing a nightmare of the soul; he shot
someone. When he examines himself, he sees that it was pure accident.
There is no justification he can use to comfort himself. He simply
screwed up and it is only by the grace of God that Mr. Whittington was
not killed.
If the Leftists had any idea how to recognize real grief and
self-doubt, they would lay off Mr. Cheney after they got the story. But
the American Left completely lacks any compassion. They are complete
failures as human beings.
To listen only to the Democratics to get the full picture. That makes as much sense as listening only to the ex-wife to get a fair assessment of the ex-husband. The Democratics have power now, and they still haven't stopped whining. Amazing.
To listen to New Orleans mayor Ray Nagin complain how Bush hasn't done enough. Billions have been sent to New Orleans, and that isn't enough? Not enough in Nagin's cronies' pockets, I bet.

Have you noticed freedom lovers want to be left alone? As long as they bother no one else, why should anyone bother them? This is a basic principle of freedom. Simple enough.
The why isn't freedom more widespread? There must be a taste, a preference, at least for some people, to be un-free. Not to put too sharp a point on this, but isn't that a slavery? What's wrong with people?
There is a world view problem here. One view, the "traditional view," is that the individual person is the basic unit of society. All civil right (and private business) in free society is based on this and is fundamentally irreducible.
There is another world view that everyone belongs to a class. "Belongs." Here's where the similarity to slavery begins. According to this view, society is not made of individuals, and there is no individual right.
If you are alert, you already noticed the basis for freedom is also the basis for the free market (no surprise there) and indirectly, capitalism and democracy. The other world view, that of classes, is more collectivist. An extreme form of collectivism is Marxist communism, but the individual person loses his freedom long before society achieves that particular nirvana.
The depressing realization about freedom is that if people want to be left alone, then it becomes difficult to make them see when their own interest are at stake, especially if it seems that another person's freedom is under attack. Perversely, free people must band together in order to preserve their individual freedom. An attack against one person's freedom is an attack against everyone's freedom.
No one is free if any peaceable person is in chains.
